Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)

Specialized NDT training focused on Ultrasonic Testing (UT), preparing students to detect material defects and measure material thickness without damaging components.

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)

Overview

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) is a specialized field used to inspect materials, components, and structures for defects without causing damage to the material being tested. This training focuses on Ultrasonic Testing (UT), a technique that uses high-frequency sound waves to identify internal discontinuities such as cracks and to measure material thickness. The program provides practical and technical knowledge relevant to industrial inspection and quality assurance. Training is delivered in collaboration with TESTIA, an Airbus Group company in Bremen, Germany, bringing aerospace-related NDT expertise into the learning experience. Certified NDT Ultrasonic Testing professionals can pursue opportunities across industries such as aerospace, defense, energy, oil and gas, and automotive.
